People who have undergone or studied hypnosis, particularly conversational hypnosis will certainly recognize the name Igor Ledochowski. He is one of today’s well known hypnosis master who have authored several books regarding the applications of conversational hypnosis in promoting well-being and overall better quality of life.
In the study of hypnosis, Ledochowski is considered a master and an authority. But before he even became a well-celebrated speaker for exclusive seminars, course instructor for several corporations and private individuals and ultimately, the head trainer for NLP and Hypnosis for Easy Stop Foundation, he was a law student who happened to have an unfailing interest in workings of the human mind.
Even when he was still a student, Ledochowski already gained interest on how the human mind works. He was particularly interested in the field of accelerated learning, as he hopes that such understanding will help him perform better in his final exams. The result was something expected. He comfortably passed his exams with the least bit of revision.
In 1996, Igor Ledochowski earned his LLB in law, specializing on European law. With this early success in his keen study, he became more intrigued in studying more of the abilities of the human mind.
After finishing his degree in law, Ledochowski immediately landed a job at a law firm, Linklaters. And even as a lawyer, he continued on his attempt of studying and understanding the inner workings of the mind, he managed to learn how to use preparation and alternative thinking to gain success. This even made him more driven to unlock the secrets of the human mind.
By 1999, a family member suggested to Ledochowski that he might do well in examining the field of Ericksonian hypnosis. And so, he dedicated much of his free time on his study on the discipline.
The teachings of the Ericksonian hypnosis have the greatest impression on Ledochowski. Other master hypnotists that influenced Ledochowski’s work include Stephen Brooks, Paul McKenna, Richard Bandler and Stephen Gilligan. He later on decided to quit his day job to pursue his studies on the art of hypnosis.
After barely ten years of pursuing the stewardship of becoming a master hypnotist, Igor Ledochowski has successfully established his reputation as a knowledgeable and talented hypnotherapist in United Kingdom. He was later on affiliated with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis as well as with the Hypnotherapy Association, handling master classes in hypnotherapy.
Through his continuous research and studies, he managed to augment the existing methods of hypnotherapy with emphasis on the field of verbal hypnosis, drastically making hypnosis more accessible to the laypersons.
Today, we see many of Ledochowski’s work incorporated in the methods and study of modern hypnotherapy. In 2003, he released “The Deep Trance Training Manual, Volume 1”, featuring an introduction to hypnosis and chapters for basic NLP and Ericksonian hypnosis.
The book was regarded as the most essential hypnosis training guides anyone can buy in the market today. “The Power of Conversational Hypnosis” is Igor Ledochowski’s latest work, which is a 12 part recording of conversational hypnosis sessions.
In this light, his greatest contribution to the evolution of hypnosis is providing more accessible and effective means of hypnotherapy.
